For years, Priceline's official interpreter was William Shatner, who agreed to wash a spots gratis inside exchange for stock in the company. An early ad campaign featuring Shatner got him belt out popular songs inside spoken word, in the style of his album, The Transformed Man. He was "replaced" inside 2004 by his Star Trek co-star, Leonard Nimoy. Shatner however appeared inside spots for Priceline, going into Nimoy when his replacement. That campaign is okay, assibilate; Shatner hwhen returned to his place as Priceline's merely spokesman.
